Zensar Interview Experiences

These Zensar interview notes are rewritten from public student posts and prep-site summaries. Your panel can still look different.

Usual flow: Online assessment (Hirepro, MCQ + coding) → Technical interview → HR

Funnel is steep - one on-campus drive went 300+ → 31 (post-OA) → 6 (final HR round), with all 6 finally selected.

Self-intro + project discussion, basic DBMS/OOPs/OS questions, language-specific questions, and a simple coding problem (e.g. factorial of a number); HR-style questions often get mixed into the same technical round.

Self-intro and projects again, technology preferences, location, and general fit discussion - fairly conversational in the final round.

OA on Hirepro (110 min: 4 MCQ sections - aptitude, English, computer fundamentals - plus 2 coding questions on arrays/strings; needed ~75% on aptitude and at least one fully-passing code) → 31 of 300+ advanced to a Hirepro technical interview (self-intro, projects, DBMS/OOPs/OS basics, language questions, factorial coding problem, some HR questions mixed in) → 6 advanced to the final HR round (self-intro, projects, tech preferences, location). All 6 finalists, including the reporter, were selected.

Prep-site pattern notes consistent with the GFG report: 4-round process (OA, sometimes a GD, technical interview, HR); OA commonly described as 50 questions/50 minutes (30 aptitude+reasoning, 20 technical MCQs) or a separate 3-question DSA coding test (~1.5 hr) depending on drive. Off-campus drives sometimes skip the GD. Eligibility bar is 60%+ at 10th, 12th and degree individually.

These notes come from public reports and can differ by campus, year, and role. If your college placement email or the official careers/notification PDF says something different, follow that.

After technical rounds, Zensar usually closes with a short HR / hiring-manager conversation: motivation, location, notice period, and a couple of behavioural stories. Prepare those answers on the dedicated page rather than cramming them into this hub.
