Section titled “Overview”These Airtel interview notes are rewritten from public student posts and prep-site summaries. Your panel can still look different.

What students reported
Section titled “What students reported”- The screening platform varies a lot by drive. Older on-campus SDE write-ups describe an AMCAT test split into logical reasoning, quantitative, and a 2-problem coding section. More recent Young Talent Leadership / network-trainee reports describe a roughly 87-minute gamified assessment - short puzzle-style “motion” and “switch” challenges plus numerical reasoning - before the coding problems. Do not assume you know the format from last year’s post.
- Technical rounds stay on fundamentals rather than hard DSA. One SDE candidate’s ~70-minute first technical round covered BST and DFS/BFS traversals, DB indexing, hash collisions, deadlock conditions, ACID properties, and SQL queries; the follow-up 30-minute round was DSA plus a logic puzzle (Pascal’s triangle solved with a plain O(n²) approach was accepted). Several posts note interviewers cared more about the approach and edge cases than the optimal solution.
- Puzzles and resume depth come up often. Multiple reports mention brain-teasers in the second technical round, and candidates repeatedly advise being able to defend every project and course listed on the resume - interviewers pick from it directly.
- Funnels are narrow and results can be same-day. One drive reported ~130 applicants down to ~20 interviews; another reported ~100-120 applicants, 10 interviewed, 4 offered. Some campus drives declare HR results on the spot.

Section titled “HR interview”After technical rounds, Airtel usually closes with a short HR / hiring-manager conversation: motivation, location, notice period, and a couple of behavioural stories. Prepare those answers on the dedicated page rather than cramming them into this hub.
